Tuesdays for Teachers Webinar Series

Please join us for “Tuesdays for Teachers,” a free professional development webinar series for educators. Presented by Bonnie Goonen and Susan Pittman, this webinar series will take a deeper dive into classroom strategies and techniques for the GED® test’s four test subjects. Sessions are designed for educators who have already completed foundational-level training, either by attending in-person training or by using self-guided professional development resources.

Registration for each webinar will open approximately two weeks before the webinar date. Attendance is limited and based on a first-come, first-served basis. "How Do I Display That?" – Tips and Resources for the GED® Science Classroom

Data analysis is simply the process of interpreting the meaning of data that has been collected, organized, and displayed in the form of a table, graph, chart, or other representation. However, making sense of data and the different types of graphics found on the science test can be difficult for students.

Join the GED® PD team as they share different ways to integrate the teaching of statistics and graphics into your science classroom. From displaying data in multiple ways to measures of central tendency and variability to phase diagrams, this webinar will provide you with numerous resources to take back to your classroom. Graphic or visual literacy is an important skill for students to have - not only for the test, but also for real-world situations.
